Rachmaninov Vespers
Event: A Concert for Remembrance Sunday 1914 - 2014
The Vespers were written in 1915 when Rachmaninov was travelling throughout Russia
giving concerts in aid of the war against Germany.
This concert is being held on Remembrance Day in a place where many servicemen from
the First World War are buried.
